Having won the creative business in a successful pitch, dentsu NZ has joined forces with Pizza Hut to launch a distinctive new brand platform – fronted by ‘The Yumpire’.
The Yumpire, Pizza Hut’s new brand ambassador, is the arbiter of taste, the decider of deliciousness and the champion of every Kiwi taste bud.
The tasty new work kicks off on TV, digital, social and in-store and was made in collaboration with director James Solomon via Fish, music and sound via Franklin Rd, photographer Yuki Sato via IDC and PHD media.
Murray Streets, MD of dentsu creative, says: “It’s ridiculously well-coded work that’s injected confidence and distinctiveness into the brand.”
Bex Radford, Creative Partner at dentsu, adds: “From the moment the Yumpire showed up in a pizza-fuelled brainstorm, we knew she was going to be transformative for the Pizza Hut brand. Huge thanks to our brave clients and awesome production partners for making her a reality.”
Geraldine Oldham, CMO at Restaurant Brands says: “We are excited about this latest step in the transformation of the Pizza Hut brand in New Zealand.”
The Yumpire will be making her presence felt all over New Zealand.
