AUCKLAND, Monday: MediaWorks has today announced the appointment of Jeff McDowall to the newly created role of chief operating officer, responsible for outdoor operations, finance, property, and procurement & strategy function.
McDowall joins MediaWorks after 20 years at Air NZ, most recently as chief financial officer. His commercial & financial experience spans 30 years.
Prior to joining Air NZ he held roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers in NZ, Singapore and the US, and also spent time with Mobil in NZ and London.
“Jeff’s track record will help drive organic growth, and potential acquisition opportunities in the market.”

Earlier arrivals
McDowall’s arrival follows the appointment of general counsel Rachel Callaghan and commercial director Liz Fraser who started with MediaWorks in March.
MediaWorks also made two new board appointments in March with Louise Bond and Nagaja Sanatkumar joining as independent directors.
