Mindshare, Wunderman Thompson win Click Frenzy

After a competitive pitch, GroupM agency Mindshare has been awarded the media account for online shopping mega sale event Click Frenzy.

Mindshare will be taking on the online and offline duties for the digital eCommerce business.

Meanwhile, Wunderman Thompson has been awarded the creative duties including brand strategy and architecture, and ongoing communications work.

Click Frenzy Marketing Manager, Mark Salzmann says: “Mindshare captured our imagination with their strategic vision to amplify the reach and effectiveness of Click Frenzy’s national media buying efforts. We were impressed by their best-in-class tools and systems and their ability to lean on their global network for insights that can be applied to the Australian market.

“We couldn’t look past Wunderman Thompson as our growth partner. Not only have they brought to life our current creative ambition, but they have the breadth and scale to unlock our future potential.”

Mindshare Melbourne Managing Director, Chris Solomon says: “As the world and Australians become more dependent on eCommerce, online marketplace environments are key to building strong brands and delivering growth.

“Click Frenzy truly values the contribution that media innovation and best in class tools can provide in helping to grow their brand and grow their business.”

Wunderman Thompson Melbourne Managing Director, Nick Muncaster adds: “It’s been a great experience working with the Click Frenzy team so far with the project well underway, and we look forward to driving more growth for the business in the future.”

Click Frenzy was launched by CEO Grant Arnott after being inspired by online mega sales Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the US, and wanting a similar centralised online shopping experience for Australians.

The win is the latest in a stream of new business for Mindshare including Craveable Brands, Foxtel Streamotion and University of Melbourne.
