AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Lumo Digital Outdoor has appointed a new independent director to its board, former Colenso BBDO MD Scott Coldham, whose tenure saw the agency became one of the most successful creative shops in the world.
Since leaving the agency in January he has been chief marketing officer with NZ technology company Whip Around and local menswear brand Asuwere.
Lumo chairman Shannon Walsh says Coldhams’ addition as an independent director is a great chance for the businesses to get more insight into successfully fostering and growing agency relationships.
“I am looking forward to staying connected and giving back in a small way to an industry that has given me so much.”
“Bringing in an independent director to our board is about broadening our horizons and challenging our perspectives on what agencies and advertisers are seeking from businesses like Lumo.”
Coldham becomes the sixth board member for Lumo, which is building a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most innovative media businesses.
Coldham said: “I am excited about joining this ambitious business at a time when I hope to add a little bit of value from the boardroom.
I have been very impressed with what the team have achieved in such a short space of time and I am looking forward to staying connected and giving back in a small way to an industry that has given me so much.”
