AUCKLAND, Today: Aussie communications business Clear Hayes Consulting has launched in New Zealand, the first international office for the firm which specialises in marketing to marketers.
Founded in 2018 in Sydney, Clear Hayes Consulting helps businesses in the media, marketing and creative space connect with their audiences and create real business impact through meaningful communication and unique storytelling.
The boutique consultancy offers a range of communications disciplines, including content, PR and production, and works with a variety of clients from large global brands to growing independent agencies.
Clear Hayes’ Aotearoa presence will be led by former StopPress editor Courtney Devereux, and counts Lumo Digital Outdoor, Lens Technology & Analytics and creative technology agency Method as local foundation clients.
Founder Alex Hayes says establishing a local presence was a logical step, with the business already working with clients including Facebook, Verizon Media and Outbrain in the market.
“We’re really excited to formally expand our unique services across the ditch to help great New Zealand businesses grow their presence locally and overseas.
“I’ve always been in awe of the creative and innovative prowess of Kiwi companies and the pandemic has created an amazing opportunity for more of them to share these gifts with clients beyond New Zealand’s shores. We’re perfectly placed to help make this happen.”
“Clear Hayes offers research, strategy and creative ideas to campaign delivery through podcast, video, content, PR, display, reports, and events.”
Clear Hayes’ work in the New Zealand market includes Facebook’s Face 2 Face podcast, which was No 1 in the Apple business charts and named the Best Marketing Podcast in the world by US trade publication AdWeek.
Series 3 of the award-winning podcast, produced in Auckland, shines a spotlight on some of NZ’s iconic brands including Whittaker’s and The Warehouse Group, as well as the New Zealand Olympic Committee.
Clear Hayes also helped to bring the Verizon Media Academy Masterclass programme and events to life, and worked on the live and webinar versions of the Decoded series which drew a large audience.
Auckland-based Devereux says she’s looking forward to helping more great businesses improve their communications: “Our strategic approach and in-depth knowledge of the industry across the region means we’ve been able to help accelerate brands like Lumo and Method in a really short period of time,” she says.
“At its core marketing is really simple – but the industry has a habit of overcomplicating things. We turn that jargon into plain English to make it easy for marketers to understand how your solution can help to solve their business problems.”
