Leading recommendation platform for the open web, Outbrain, has named Daniel Littlepage as its new Director of Business Operations APAC among a string of senior hires across the region.
Littlepage will be tasked with spearheading strategic direction and supporting the implementation and adoption of new services from the company.
His remit will include supporting the business’ growing stable of advertisers and publisher partners in New Zealand.
Among the new product innovations Littlepage will be helping to implement in the market is Outbrain’s recently launched QualityRating tool, an AI-powered algorithmic change which rewards higher quality ads with greater distribution, part of several moves to improve the user experience and further enhance return on advertising spend for clients.
Littlepage has a strong background across the marketing and media industry, and previously led video platform 90 Seconds in ANZ and was most recently Vice President of Growth and Operations of proptech startup Inspace.
He will report to Managing Director APAC and Growth Markets, Andrew Burke.
Burke says: “Following on from a number of strong growth quarters and market expansion, the focus of Outbrain is taking the platform to the next level.
“A huge part of this evolution in the New Zealand market will be taking our market-leading tools and encouraging advertisers to create even more high-quality content to fit the environments their content is appearing in, which will deliver even better engagement from consumers.”
Littlepage says: “After spending the last few years helping innovative companies accelerate across the ANZ region, I’m excited to be joining Outbrain at a time of real growth to support its important work of helping publishers monetise their content.
“Our focus is our clients and we will continue in the aim for better user experience, tailored programing and improved results.”
