Robert Hutchinson is joining TVNZ in the newly created role of General Manager Digital – Commercial.
Hutchinson will lead the commercial team and is tasked with strengthening TVNZ OnDemand’s revenue position, ensuring the platform can continue its exponential growth to offer more content to viewers and more opportunities to advertisers.
Bringing a wealth of experience in driving advertising and subscription revenues as well as delivering creative solutions in the digital space, he has previously held positions of Chief Revenue Officer and Product Development Director at Stuff/Fairfax.
Most recently, Hutchinson has been working as Chief Product Officer of IT start-up SixthSense and as the Director of his own digital consultancy business.
TVNZ Commercial Director Jodi O’Donnell says: “I am thrilled to have Robert join our Commercial team at TVNZ. His experience in maximising advertiser opportunities, driving innovation and developing new initiatives will help us to take TVNZ OnDemand to the next level.

He starts the role next Monday.
