AUCKLAND, Today: The Marketing Association is to shine more light on TikTok and the platform’s unique mix of content creation, media, entertainment, and popular culture.

TikTok NZ’s Brodie Kane and NZ consultant Cassie Roma (along with a bunch of online Aussies) will join the MA’s Brainy Breakfast for the pow-wow – in Auckland on Tuesday 17 August.

The show will be held at Eden Park (South Lounge/Level 4) and runs from 7am-9.15am. Tickets cost $ 89+gst. There’s free parking available.

An unsigned MA flyer said: “TikTok represents a monumental shift for marketers.


“The Australian TikTok team will share advice on what brands can do to stay on top of the latest trends.”


“Joining us via live-stream from Sydney, the Australian TikTok team will share what makes the platform so different, how TikTok creators are re-imagining community entertainment, and what brands can do to stay on top of the latest TikTok trends.

“You’ll also enjoy an entertaining Fireside Chat where Brodie Kane quizzes The Inspired Unemployed on their experiences with fame, brands and creating content for TikTok vs Instagram – while Clare Winterbourn from Born Bred Talent Sydney shares lessons from helping 250+ brands onto the TikTok platform.”
