AUCKLAND, Friday: Two senior Colenso BBDO people are about to check out – chief creative officer Levi Slavin, and executive business director Ahmad Salim.
Slavin’s enjoyed three separate stints at Colenso – the most recent lasted for four years. He confirmed his departure (to Australian media), but declined to discuss his future plans with anybody on either side of the Tasman.
Salim leaves after 10 years. He, too, has not commented on his future.
“Attempts to gouge more details out of Colenso were fruitless.”
Attempts to gouge more details out of Colenso were fruitless. MD Angela Watson ignored requests for information about Slavin’s possible replacement, but did pay a tribute: “Levi has been a constant contributor to the success of both Colenso and Clemenger,” she said.
“His creative genius has led to work that will always be massively loved and respected in and out of the industry.
“He leaves the agency this week with nothing but our love and best wishes for the future.”
