AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Drum PR has devised a campaign build around Kiwi comedian Melanie Bracewell’s new role as a wine connoisseur for New Zealand’s Brancott Estate.
Drum’s Amber Ritchie said: “For a series of engaging and completely hilarious videos being shared to social – Bracewell has bluffed her way through ‘Melanie Bracewell’s wine tips’ in the self-deprecating Kiwi humour she is best known for.
“Rather than traditional wine tips, the short snackable videos are made and designed for a Kiwi audience.
“There are eight videos in the series with the videos dropping weekly, the latest one (Vintage – above) went live today.”
“From her subtle comparisons to Winston Peters, to her tasting notes of ‘really bold, supple and muscular with a hint of flannel’, Bracewell’s quips are the reviews that nobody asked for but every Kiwi needs.”
There are eight videos in the series with the videos dropping weekly, the latest one (Vintage – above) went live today.
The videos feature Brancott’s Reserve range including pinot noir, rosè, pinot gris, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc.
