MediaWorks has launched its first out-of-home billboard in Dunedin and two new digital sites in Auckland.
The 6×3 metre static billboard which went live last week is located on Dunedin’s Great King Street, a major arterial route in the city.
In addition to the new out-of-home offering in Dunedin, MediaWorks is switching on two new digital sites in the country’s biggest city, Tāmaki Makaurau.
The first will go live in mid-November and is located on Lunn Avenue in Stonefields, with the 9×3 metre site surrounded by retail and dining and capturing traffic heading towards Mount Wellington.
The second site at Oteha Valley Road on the North Shore is set to go live in the coming weeks. The 4×8 metre digital billboard is in close proximity to Albany Westfield, Massey University and the local park and ride, capturing the attention of both shoppers and commuters.
MediaWorks Outdoor Director Angus Swainson says it’s fantastic to launch a high profile outdoor space in Dunedin to support local and national advertisers.
“Dunedin is home to more than 130,000 people and the second largest city in the South Island, making it perfect for the latest addition to our out-of-home footprint. This new site is in a great location to capture the attention of locals and students and will support our radio presence in the south.
“We also can’t wait to switch on two more high quality Auckland sites as part of our digital out-of-home expansion. These new digital sites will capitalise on the growing traffic numbers as the city rebounds from COVID-19 and in time for the highly anticipated Christmas shopping season,” Swainson says.
