AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Following four recent new business wins, Proximity NZ has appointed Adam Brami as client partnerships director. Brami recently returned to New Zealand after leading the Australian Defence Force recruitment business at VMLY&R Melbourne, with a large client partnerships team.
Brami’s work been recently recognised at the Australian Effies and D&AD.
He has 15 years’ local and international experience, spanning both traditional and digital media — driving market impact and expansion for brands across multiple categories including FMCG, retail, fast-food, technology, hospitality, IT, media, government and sport.
Brami believes the secret to successful client partnerships is grounded on a foundation of openness and trust, paired with showcasing the real value modern-day ‘suits’ can offer beyond the bare minimum.
“People buy people. It’s why chemistry sessions are such an important step in the new business process.”
“People buy people,” he says. “It’s why chemistry sessions are such an important step in the new business process. Great relationships with our clients leads to great work, not necessarily the other way around.
“And at Prox, we’ve got a vision to create the best client partnerships in the world.”
GM Amy Watson said: “When I first met Adam I just knew he needed to be on our team. He’s super smart, has loads of experience to bring to the table but most importantly, he’s a bloody great human.
“It’s been a busy first 7 months for the new Proximity NZ, and we’re super excited he’s joined us as we move the agency into our next phase of growth.”
