Uprise Digital acquires Absolute Analytics

Independent Digital Performance Agency Uprise Digital, has announced the acquisition of Data & Analytics Agency, Absolute Analytics.

With the recent changes to cookie tracking and data transparency in the digital & marketing industry, there is an increasing need for businesses to ensure their data and analytics strategy is sound. Given the ever-changing landscape, now more than ever businesses need to be able to not only measure performance but utilise the tools to drive real engagement with their customers.

Seeing this growing opportunity, Uprise wanted to ensure that they have a market-leading offering in this space that aligns to bottom-line performance. The acquisition of Absolute Analytics means that Uprise Digital will have one of the largest independent Data & Analytics offerings in New Zealand and bring the total number of employees to 42.

On the acquisition, Tim Pointer, CEO of Uprise said: “We’re thrilled to welcome the Absolute Analytics team to join ours. Absolute Analytics has seven specialist staff members that will be joining the Uprise family in the Auckland Office. Their expertise is wide-ranging, across a number of different areas:

  • Combining data & advertising – modelling above and beyond attribution methods, to understand the true impact of advertising activity.
  • Building & specialising in first-party customer data & customer data platforms (CDPs) – an area that will be crucial to business growth in the future of advertising.
  • Activating the data ti improve all areas of the marketing mix.
  • Building genuine connections & relationships with customers – rather than being everywhere to everyone.

Absolute Analytics will continue to work with their existing clients, whilst working alongside Uprise Digital clients. Absolute Analytics have worked with a number of New Zealand companies, including: IAG, Serko, THL, Splore, Wellington NZ and Save The Children.
