AUCKLAND, Wednesday: FCB Media has confirmed the promotion of Philippa Mckenzie from the position of group business director at the agency to head of connections planning.
FCB Media managing director Blair Alexander said: “With fragmentation across channels, platforms and even client in-house teams, ensuring we continue to put consumers at the centre of everything we do is key.
“With that in mind this new role will help drive the ongoing evolution of our media planning process ensuring strategies translate into frictionless experiences for consumers.
“Philippa was recognised as the agency’s Collaborator of the Year so that natural ability will also be key in helping take FCB’s integrated model to the next level. She will also continue to lead clients with support from her wider team.
“She has 12 years in media agencies working across banking, telco, retail, government & FMCG, on some of NZ’s biggest brands.”
Mckenzie, who is already transitioning to her new role, commented: “I’m delighted to continue my journey at FCB Media with this exciting new opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our talented leadership team & global network to evolve FCB Media’s connections planning approach, championing creativity in media & creating seamless integration with our partners.”
Mckenzie has 12 years’ experience in media agencies working across a range of categories including banking, telco, retail, government & FMCG, working on some of NZ’s biggest brands.
She joined FCB Media as a group business director in January 2020.
Blair Alexander: “We’re really pleased to be able to promote great talent from within the business and we know Philippa will achieve great things, will the full support of the wider agency behind her.”
