MediaWorks has announced the appointment of Jennifer Kerr as an independent People & Culture Advisor to the board.
Kerr has extensive international experience as a senior executive in HR, health and safety, and wellbeing. She was previously the General Manager of People at Transpower, Group Director of Human Resources and Health & Safety at Fonterra and has held the position of Group Manager of Human Resources for Mobil for all of Europe.
She also holds a number of independent directorships, including with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, New Zealand Rugby, Eke Panuku Development Ltd, Waipa Networks Ltd, the NZ Police Assurance and Risk Committee and as the deputy chair for Callaghan Innovation.
Kerr is of Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga descent.
MediaWorks Chief People Officer Paula Williams says in her independent advisor role Kerr will work closely with the board and executive team moving forward.

The appointment of a board advisor with specialist people and culture expertise aligns with MediaWorks’ vision to be New Zealand’s first choice for media for its people, customers and audiences.
Kerr begins her role immediately.
