MediaWorks appoints Wayne Stevenson as chair

AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks has appointed Wayne Stevenson as its new board chair. He has been acting as interim chair since August 2021 and first joined the board in late 2019.

The majority of his executive career was spent in banking and finance with ANZ in both Australia and internationally.

Over the past 10 years since leaving ANZ he has developed a diverse portfolio of board directorships spanning banking, insurance, payments, technology, sales enablement and media.

He said: “My focus as chair will be to continue the work we have been doing over recent times to improve the company for our audiences, customers, and staff.
