SYDNEY, Monday: AU telecoms provider Optus has launched a stylish new tvc for the company’s It Starts with Yes brand platform – via Special Group New Zealand.
Production & post was shared across both sides of the Tasman – and featured Blockhead VFX Auckland.
Optus marketing VP Mel Hopkins said: “This film chronicles the story of a steel worker, played by violinist Eric Avery, who plays Jimmy Barnes Australian anthem Working Class Man.”

Special NZ ECD Lisa Fedyszyn said: “This latest instalment of It Starts with Yes reflects that sentiment and aims to inspire more Australians to say YES to positive and ambitious change.

The film launched in Australia on Sunday, along with social content, and OOH nationally throughout March.
