AUCKLAND, Friday: MBM tasted success at the NZ IAB Digital Advertising Awards (held) virtually last night, winning Agency of the Year for the third year in a row. FCB was the most awarded agency.
FCB took out 14 awards, the most in IAB history, with recognition across commercial and social change work, securing the top awards across Technology, Campaign Targeting, Programmatic, DOOH, and Performance categories.
In total, there were 56 winners, across five award categories, who took away a total of 29 Silvers and 27 Gold Awards.
The award sponsors were Google, Lumo Digital Outdoor, Magnite, Marsden Inch, Meta, Nielsen, rova, Salesforce, Trade Me and TVNZ.
Agency of the Year, sponsored by Google, was awarded to MBM for the third year in a row, for their 2021 entry Rollercoaster Year: How a New Agency Strategy Delivered MBM Digital Growth.
Best in Show, sponsored by TVNZ, was awarded to FCB’s Electoral Commission Voter Concierge, winning three Golds and a Silver. FCB finished with a total of 15 awards – seven Golds and eight Silvers.
