In a world where nearly everyone is always online, there is no offline.

Go Media installs 70th digital billboard – and plans to party!

AUCKLAND, Today: Go Media has erected one of the largest P6 digital screens in the country with its latest supersite in Porirua.

The 9m x 12m portrait site occupies four stories on a property on the motorway offramp at the gateway into the commercial hub of the city, targeting all the major big-box retailers, supermarkets, and North City Shopping mall.

Go Media development head Dean Shaw said: “This is another exclusive market in our ever-expanding national network, and one of several supersites we are about to roll out.

“We have doubled the size of our New Zealand network in the last nine months, adding 35 new screens and with another screen going into Upper Hutt recently our Greater Wellington offering is unmatched.

“We are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel from all the lockdowns.”

“Having just hit the seventies in terms of the number of screens we have in our network and having now moved to Orange we have decided to celebrate by throwing a ’70s-themed disco party.

“We’re going to party like its 1969.”

“We think the industry needs to have a good gathering and invites with a Save the Date are going out next week.

Go Media director Mike Gray said: “We are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel from all the lockdowns, and it turns out the light is from a mirror-ball.

“You will be invited to the party, Ed – I know you like your disco, mate!
