Although diversity and inclusion will always need to be improved, there is plenty of our industry to be proud of. The Faces of our Industry aims to flip the conversation on its head, and celebrate the amazing individuals we have in our sector.
In the final episode of the Faces of our Industry series, we chat with Group Account Director at NZME, Lloyd Aickin.
Aickin has spent over a dozen years in media, working both at advertising agencies and on the publishing side, and is extremely passionate about diversity and inclusion. He firmly believes there’s a big difference between a ‘manager’ and a ‘leader’, with leaders empowering those they work with. He strives to be the change he wants to see in the world by encouraging an understanding and inclusive environment with not only his own team members but also the wider team.
