Next generation creative services agency, Proximity NZ, has appointed Jen Murphy as Group Account Director.
Previously a Group Account Director at Stanley Street, Murphy has held several senior positions across some of New Zealand’s largest agencies working for brands such as Restaurant Brands and Sealord.
On the appointment, Murphy says she was drawn to Chris Pescott and James Moks’ ambition at the agency.
“I like the way they’re shaping the agency, with a big focus on its people. The agency truly gets that great work happens when the teams are happy and motivated – evidenced by the fact that they’ve won six out of six pitches in the last year.
“I’m looking forward to working with the business as they take client work to the next level using the multi-disciplinary approach that has proven pivotal for New Zealand brands time and time again.”
Working across some of Proximity’s largest clients, such as Spark, Fidelity Life and Kiwi Property, Murphy will also be focused on new business development.
Chris Pescott, CEO of Proximity NZ says: “Proximity is working smarter than ever, driving sustained growth for our clients through great teamwork, technology and insights-driven strategy.
“Jen has an exceptional background in strategy and team leadership that we know will immensely benefit our Client Partnerships team and the brands we work with.
“With some exciting projects and ambitions ahead of us, we are delighted to have Murphy join the agency this month.”
Murphy’s appointment is effective immediately.
