Australian’s biggest baby retailer Baby Bunting has appointed Republik to manage its media planning and buying effective immediately in New Zealand.
Baby Bunting is opening its first store in Albany, Auckland on Saturday, August 13.
Danielle Beh, Baby Bunting’s Operations Manager in New Zealand, says due to the huge range of products they provide, the business needs an agency that understands the offering.
“We have a huge range of products to support families, as well as services such as car seat installation, capsule and breast pump hire. We needed an agency that would quickly understand the breadth of our offering, how it will benefit the New Zealand market, and then could build a plan to communicate that.
“The Republik team have been so good to work with. We’ve been impressed with the speed at which they’ve put together a comprehensive plan that ticks all our boxes. I’m confident that we’ve made a smart decision onboarding them.”
Established in Melbourne as a family-owned business in 1979, Baby Bunting is now Australia’s largest specialty nursery retailer, catering to parents with children from new-born to four years of age.
They now have 65 stores across Australia with more soon to open and have a rapidly growing online business. Baby Bunting stores offer a huge range of products and services. With an online only presence, they started delivering to New Zealand in June 2020.
Republik’s Media Manager, Diane Besim says she has no doubt the business will set the bar for baby and infant retailers in New Zealand.
“The first campaign launches on July 22nd and will be visible through OOH, Street Furniture, Radio, Partnerships and a variety of digital placements.”
