Biased Bev recommends BCITO for a career in construction

AUCKLAND, Today: The Building Construction Industry Training Organisation, with partners EightyOne and MBM, have built on the legacy of their Tricky Chat trilogy with a new campaign to encourage school leavers, young professionals and career switchers to consider a career in the trades.

Enter Bev – Aotearoa’s most biased career advisor. With her deep knowledge and appreciation of the benefits of an apprenticeship and working in the trades, she knows there’s only one option for any young person looking for a rewarding and fulfilling career: construction of course!

“Bev – our most biased career advisor – is live on TV, online, outdoor and social channels.”

BCITO head of marketing & communications Asharie Martelletti said: “This campaign is more than driving recruitment, it’s also about changing perception.

“We’re really thrilled that EightyOne and MBM have been on this journey with us as we continue to build people, build whanau and build communities”

EightyOne ECD Chris Bleackley said: “Bev is nowhere near as biased as me. I reckon the team and everyone involved did a fantastic job.”.

Bev, the biased career advisor, is live on TV, online, outdoor and social channels.
