Mango Aotearoa has made two promotions to its senior leadership team following a strong period of growth
Former Senior Account Directors, Katy Hughes and Liz Holt have been promoted to Group Business Directors, each managing different teams and major client accounts within the agency.
Katy has been at Mango for more than four years, having moved to Aotearoa from London where she began her communications career. She has experience working across various industries and markets including FMCG, consumer lifestyle and technology.
Liz joined the Mango team three years ago, leading key accounts including Samsung New Zealand. She has both agency and in-house experience, working across corporate and consumer clients.
Mango’s Managing Director Sean Brown says both Liz and Katy have been instrumental to the success of the agency and their promotions reflect the impact they’ve had on the team.
“Our business continues to go from strength-to-strength across PR, experiential and social, and it’s fantastic to also be able to grow and challenge our own people. Both Liz and Katy are well-loved members of the Mango whānau and these promotions are well deserved. We are all excited to see what they achieve from here,” he says.
Excited by the opportunity to help shape the Mango business for the future, Katy is “looking forward to diving into the deep end, helping to shape the strategic direction of the agency and take Mango to new heights”.
Liz says Mango is on an “amazing trajectory” and it’s a privilege to be part of its success.
“I am looking forward to continuing to help the wider team realise their incredible potential, while also contributing to the success of the agency.”
