TSB Bank appoints DDB Aotearoa

Following the completion of a competitive pitch process, DDB Aotearoa has this month been awarded the business of TSB with the 100% New Zealand-owned bank appointing the agency as its lead advertising partner.

As one of the country’s longest standing banks, TSB was seeking a partner that could help clearly communicate their unique position in the market, that would position them to achieve their ambitious goals.

Joe Bishop, General Manager of Marketing and Product at TSB says DDB Aotearoa impressed with their strategic thinking and creative firepower, that delivered a clear brand articulation that aligned with the ethos and values of the business.

“TSB is entering a new era of growth and innovation so we are thrilled to be partnering with DDB Aotearoa to help us achieve our goals and steer the brand forward.

“Not only were we impressed by their strong credentials, strategic acumen and creativity, we also felt a connection with the team, who understood our business, who we are and our commitment to our customers and the community. We’re proud and excited to have DDB in our corner.”

Nikki McKelvie, Managing Director of DDB Aotearoa, says the team are thrilled to welcome such an established and customer-focused brand into the DDB Group.

“TSB is a proudly New Zealand-owned company and it’s great to be working alongside a brand that is so well established, having been around for more than 165 years. It’s an exciting time for TSB and we’re looking forward to helping them to communicate and deliver their brand ambitions.”
