SYDNEY, Wednesday: Spark NZ’s Peter Langham took home the Data Hero of the Year award at the Snowflake AUNZ Data Drivers Awards. Langham, domain chapter lead/data engineering at Spark, was the only award winner from NZ in an otherwise all-Australian line-up.
The award recognises technology trailblazers. The data awards aim to honour customers that are leading their organisations and ‘reimagining what’s possible’ with the data cloud across their industries.
“Backed by Warren Buffet, and with a market value of US$ 82 billion, Snowflake has set its sights on the high-growth potential of the AUNZ market.”
Other winners include Australian companies Linktree, Wesfarmers, Quantium and Illawarra Retirement Trust.
