Hayley O’Connor appointed as People and Culture Manager at Plato Creative

Plato Creative has grown its talent pool by appointing Hayley O’Connor to the newly created role of People and Culture Manager.

The Christchurch based agency has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months, attracting both new clients and staff from around New Zealand.

“This is a key role that sits alongside the board to ensure that Plato has a progressive and aligned approach to its people, their performance, and the role that they have in growing the business,” Nick Harvey, CEO says.

“We see Hayley, and the work she’ll do, as being absolutely key to Plato being able to improve the recipe for the ‘special sauce’ that has helped to get us to where we are now.

“Hayley has been with Plato for over six years, initially starting out in the operations team, coming through the ranks and growing alongside the agency as the business achieved significant success. Now it’s her turn to champion our amazing people and to help build careers and pathways for current and future staff.”

O’Connor says it’s an exciting time at Plato, being a progressive company with big ambitions.

“We’ve got such an engaged, talented and ambitious team, that I’m excited to get around and work with them on how we can take the agency and our work to another level. The future is bright for Plato and our people can excel and achieve in what and where they choose, and it’s my job to support them on this journey- and I’m looking forward to the next chapter.”

Her initial focus will be on attracting high caliber talent with the skills in web and tech, marketing, and creative.
