NEW YORK, Today: Special Group New Zealand enjoyed a big result – against some of the biggest global names – when The One Asia Creative Awards shortlist was announced in Shanghai overnight.
Ogilvy Thailand has the most shortlisted entries (270), followed by Special Auckland with 16, Ogilvy Mumbai (15), Innocean Seoul (12), and BBDO Bangkok (11).
The NZ agency shared one spot – for Education New Zealand – with Wellington agency Wrestler, in the Cultural Driver category.
All the other Special successes came for Motor Neurone Disease David’s Unusables (categories include Creative Effectiveness, Non-Profit, Product Design, ,ocial Media/Online, Ecommerce, DM/Integrated Campaign, Casting, Integrated Branding Campaign, Brand Transformation, and Brand Voice).
Kiwi jurors
There are three senior Kiwi creatives on the One Asia jury – Colenso BBDO ECD Maria Devereux, Milk Auckland design director Anthony Hos, and FCB co-ECD Peter Vegas.
A finalisst list will now be selected from the shortlist – and winners announced in Shanghai in November (and included in The One Club for Creativity’s Global Rankings).
