AUCKLAND, Thursday: School Road Publishing has launched a digital platform to enhance its eminent Woman magazine brand. Woman+ is an integration of Woman & Thrive print and digital platforms, augmented with bespoke digital content.
“Digital will enable the magazine to be more reactive to topics of interest and current affairs and offer their advertisers even more opportunities to reach their loyal readers,” says editor Susanna Andrew.
“If you thought downsizing was a trend, Woman magazine is challenging you to think again.
“Paper may be in short supply and print costs on the rise, but that’s not stopping us upsizing the printed magazine to 132 pages – and launching the new digital platform.
“Since Woman magazine launched in 2020, it has gone from strength to strength, building up a fan base of female readers.
“Woman has earned a reputation as a magazine with integrity and intelligence and it’s satisfying to know that readers love what we do.
“Celebrating incredible women remains core to the content pillars which include current affairs, culture, beauty, health, gardening, women’s sport and fashion.”
“The new expanded magazine in print and online will allow us to take that even further. Our aim is to build a community with stories and ideas that contribute to the betterment of life in Aotearoa.
“Over the past two years the magazine has listened to their readers’ requests for Woman magazine to feature more Home and Living ideas and insights on Wellness.
“These categories have been added from the October issue going forward.
“Celebrating incredible women remains core to the content pillars which also include current affairs, culture, beauty, health, gardening, women’s sport and fashion.
“The new Woman+ platform will command a wider share of the reading public, extending above and beyond print offering to create opportunities for brands to promote content beyond their regular promotional cadence.
“This next phase for School Road Publishing is exciting and will shape our future as New Zealand content creators.”
