Special also picked up five silvers and bronzes in just about every category – Australian/New Zealand Integrated Agency of the Year, Australian/New Zealand Content Agency of the Year, New Zealand Creative Agency of the Year, New Zealand Digital Agency of the Year and Australian/New Zealand Influencer Agency of the Year.
Special was also awarded a bronze award for Australian/New Zealand Marketing Partnership of the Year in conjunction with Kiwibank. Special helped deliver a full brand communications overhaul and introducing new marketing platform ‘This Is Kiwi’.
DDB Group’s digital experience agency, Tribal Aotearoa, was named NZ Digital Agency of the Year and AUS/NZ Social Media Agency of the Year. DDB Aotearoa has also been awarded Silver for Creative Agency of the Year.
DDB Group Aotearoa CEO Priya Patel says: “Tribal grew out of the success of the DDB digital department three years ago and continues to be one of the fastest growing arms within the Group – over the past 12 months alone it has started working with a large number of new clients on some hugely exciting projects.
“The fact that Tribal / DDB Group has been recognised for the fifth year in a row as the leading digital agency in New Zealand is testament to the phenomenal work the agency produces. We’ve also placed a renewed focus on our social offering this year and so, to have been named the leading social media agency in Australia and New Zealand is a massive achievement. A huge thanks to all the talented and nice humans that have been part of that journey.”
