Chemistry’s Creative Director and Co-Founder will join the 2023 Executive Jury for The Gerety Awards – celebrating the best advertising to resonate with a female audience.
Named after Frances Gerety, the copywriter who in 1948 coined the slogan “A diamond is forever”, the Gerety Awards create a benchmark that is relevant to the market reality, all the while redefining the standard to which advertising has traditionally been held.
“I’ve always worked hard to champion female leadership and creativity in our industry, and I am thrilled to sit alongside some of the best minds in the business for the 2023 Gerety Awards Jury,” says Young.
“Working alongside 190 other judges from across the world provides us with a truly diverse and qualitative lens to award entries. I can’t wait to see what comes through this year and the multiple creative disciplines used to achieve the work,” she adds.
Director and Co-Founder of Chemistry, Joseph Silk says he and the team are “thrilled” to see Young join this jury “and continuing to foster her passion for empowering female creatives”.
Entrants will be able to submit entries for Strategy as well as Emerging Commerce into any of the Gerety cuts for Communication, Media, Innovation, B2B, Health, Pharma, Works for Good, Entertainment, Experience and Humour. The locations for the 5th season of the Gerety awards are London, Chicago, Dubai, Mumbai, Berlin, Bucharest, AUNZ, Madrid, Bogota, and Stockholm.
