AUCKLAND, Today: Total NZ digital advertising revenue grew by 9.6% in 2022 over the previous year, according to IAB’s revenue report – released by the IAB this morning.
However, share of NZ ad turnover is now 59.8% compared to 57.8% in 2021, up 2.0 percentage points. This represents year-on-year growth in share for digital revenue of 3.5%.
“It is clear advertisers have increased their use of digital advertising to support their business goals, including emerging data-led and e-commerce initiatives.”
Total digital advertising revenue in New Zealand continued to climb, reaching $ 2.025 billion for the full year 2022 and growth of 9.6% over the previous year, compared to total advertising turnover growth of 6.1%.
IAB NZ ceo Gill Stewart said: “It is clear advertisers have increased their use of digital advertising to support their business goals, including emerging data-led and e-commerce initiatives.”
