AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Stanley St has announced two more key hires, this time of “rockstar” creative team Aiken Hutcheson and Stan Lee (aka Staken) – formerly at DDB.
The writer and art director duo are already making their mark in the industry having previously won the Axis Emerging Talent, with a silver in the global MAD Star competition.
ECD Brad Collett said: “They are a welcome extension to the agency’s fast-growing creative department, following on from the hire of head of design Nathan Chambers.
“This is a team that is destined to do great things and is already flexing their creative muscle.
“We were looking for a change – and working with Brad and the team feels like the right move in our career.”
“Our client line-up presents real creative opportunities to work across multiple channels. It’s important to have a team that understands the local market.
“They’ve worked across a wide range of local and international brands that align with our own portfolio.
“Nabbing talent like Aiken, who writes for Seven Days, and Stan, an award-winning art director, is gold.”
“While previously with DDB, we were looking for a change”, says Hutcheson, “and working with Brad and the team feels like the right move in our career.
“Every agency has its unique appeal, and jumping on the Stanley St train felt like it could be fun, and lead to some stellar work. And it definitely will if we have any say in the matter.”
