New Zealand Football has declared that Go Media has expanded its commitment to football in Aotearoa New Zealand by joining forces as a partner of the Ford Football Ferns in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in July and August.
Go Media is a leading Out of Home advertising company in New Zealand and has the country’s largest digital billboard network. This reach throughout Aotearoa helps New Zealand Football promote the Ford Football Ferns in their communities in the lead-in to the tournament.
“With just 65 days until our Ford Football Ferns kick off the FIFA Women’s World Cup at Eden Park, we’re keen to make the most of every opportunity to promote our team and get all of Aotearoa New Zealand behind them,” says New Zealand Football Brand and Partnerships General Manager James Wear.
“We’re pleased to welcome Go Media to the team.”
Co-director and co-founder of Go Media Mike Gray says: “Go Media is passionate about supporting football in New Zealand. We are huge promoters of women’s sport across Aotearoa, as one of our values is to uplift the mana of all.
“I can think of nothing greater than being a partner of the Ford Football Ferns as they take their place on the biggest stage of all, a FIFA Women’s World Cup, right here in our backyard.”
The Ford Football Ferns are next in action in Napier on 10 July against Vietnam, the team’s last public game before kicking off the FIFA Women’s World Cup at Eden Park on 20 July.
