AUCKLAND, Friday: Special New Zealand was awarded Silver Pencils for its Partners Life Last Performance campaign and Kathmandu Summer Never Sleeps at The One Show 50th Annual Awards oover the weekend.
The New Zealand life and health insurance provider collaborated with South Pacific Pictures’ murder mystery series The Brokenwood Mysteries to deliver a disruptive advertising campaign, The Last Performance, challenging Kiwis to rethink preconceptions around life insurance.
Kathmandu’s Summer Never Sleeps campaign was a “playful and unique” campaign launched as part of the brand’s platform Get Out There – designed to inspire people to venture somewhere new, dive into the unexpected and maximise every opportunity to live their best summer yet.
“The Last Performance and Summer Never Sleeps are the gifts that keep on giving.”
Special NZ chief strategy officer Rory Gallery said: “The Last Performance and Summer Never Sleeps are the gifts that keep on giving, which can be attributed to the endless creativity and dedication from the team here at Special.”
Special ECD Lisa Fedyszyn said; “It’s always great to have your work recognised by the top tier international shows, so to collect two One Show silvers on two different clients is really pleasing.
“Partners Life and Kathmandu are two extremely collaborative and creative clients, and these projects, and consequently these awards, are a result of this.”
