Special New Zealand has added more industry awards to its remarkable collection with the campaigns ‘Last Performance’ for Partners Life and ‘Summer Never Sleeps’ for Kathmandu receiving Silver Pencils at The One Show 50th Annual Awards.
The One Show is among the top three global advertising, design, and digital marketing awards programs. An international judging panel of creative and business leaders determines the most excellent work in the creative industry.
Hot on the heels of winning ‘Best in Show’ at Axis Awards, Special’s work for Partners Life has been recognised once again. The New Zealand life and health insurance provider collaborated with South Pacific Pictures’ murder mystery series The Brokenwood Mysteries to deliver a disruptive advertising campaign, The Last Performance, challenging Kiwis to rethink preconceptions around life insurance.
Kathmandu’s Summer Never Sleeps campaign was also awarded a Silver Pencil. The playful and unique campaign was launched as part of the brand’s platform ‘Get Out There’ – designed to inspire people to venture somewhere new, dive into the unexpected and maximise every opportunity to live their best summer yet.
Special New Zealand’s Chief Strategy Officer, Rory Gallery, says: ” The Last Performance and Summer Never Sleeps are the gifts that keeps on giving, which can be attributed to the endless creativity and dedication from the team here at Special.”
Specials Executive Creative Director, Lisa Fedyszyn, adds: “It’s always great to have your work recognised by the top tier international shows, so to collect two One Show silvers on two different clients is really pleasing. Partners Life and Kathmandu are two extremely collaborative and creative clients, and these projects, and consequently these awards, are a result of this.”
