WELLINGTON, Today: After winning a competitive pitch, Special Wellington has added Family Planning to its client list – they’ve been tasked to support a historical brand review.
It’s not clear who was the incumbent.
The not-for-profit charitable organisation has been operating since 1936 and has stood as a leading provider and courageous advocate for equitable sexual and reproductive wellbeing rights.
Family Planning ceo Jackie Edmond said: “Family Planning prides itself on evolving with the changing needs of people in Aotearoa.
“The agency understands how to deal with sensitive topics and we know they genuinely care about our kaupapa.”
“While definitions of family and society’s relationship to sexual and reproductive health have shifted dramatically, our brand has remained unchanged for decades, it’s important that we ensure it’s fit-for-the-future and relevant to everyone who uses our services and those we’re working hard to reach.
“We are delighted to be working with the team at Special Wellington. They understand how to deal with sensitive topics and complex systems, and we know they genuinely care about our kaupapa.”
Special Wellington lead business partner Matt Barnes said: “We are committed to building a more equitable Aotearoa and are thrilled to support an organisation that does that on a daily basis.”
