AUCKLAND, Today: MBM New Zealand is celebrating its Media Agency of the Year win at the 2023 Comms Council Beacon Awards, “following a period of significant growth and new business wins”.
This is the fourth time MBM has been awarded Media Agency of the Year throughout its 13-year history at the oOh!-sponsored Beacons. (Scroll down for the link to this year’s list of winners).
MBM ceo Lee-Ann Morris said: “This win is huge recognition of the mahi our team across both of our Wellington and Auckland offices delivered last year.
“We had our biggest year on record, winning more new business than any other agency including significant wins with Waka Kotahi, Fire & Emergency NZ and My Food Bag, among others.
“We did all of this with a new senior leadership team in place. We want to thank all of our clients, creative and media partners and MBM whānau for continuing to support our great agency on this journey.

“The award continues the agency’s winning streak, with new business wins including Education NZ, Paper Plus and Wētā Workshop, most recently partnering with the Wētā Workshop team and MediaWorks to deliver New Zealand’s first 3D billboard experience at Wellington Airport.
