Senior Graphic Designer / Melbourne / $100-120k

You will join a team who aim to be remarkable designers who are the envy of the industry. They do this by going above and beyond, constantly coming up with new ideas / opportunities that benefit their clients’ businesses and motivate and inspire their colleagues.  You will help to create, shape, and manage all aspects of design projects – to pursue creative excellence in all the stages of design projects, but also to help develop and encourage other members of the team.

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:

• To create surprising and relevant design concepts
• To take on the responsibility of overseeing and developing a junior designer (including being involved in appraisal)
• Help create and direct projects and presentations, storyboarding and thinking ahead
• Take on the role of lead designer with the client – presenting and liaising 
• To work closely with the project manager to manage and prioritise the workload on a project
• To oversee briefing – illustrators, photographers, sign companies etc. Checking on involvement and all copyright procedures
• To be responsible for technical implementation of projects, signing off artwork and printer’s proofs
• To use initiative and think of the bigger picture, not just creatively but commercially as well
• Always maintain client brand guidelines
• Adherence to company and brand guidelines and templates

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in design and bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Brand Agency environment.
