Palmerston North’s council-owned conference and events venue operator, Palmy Venues, has enlisted the expertise of The Goat Farm, and joined forces with media partner Sneakers, to proclaim the unrivalled excellence of its conference packages to the world.
The result, “Palmy Venues – home of your next bloody good conference,” launched last week at national conference organisers’ event MEETINGS 2023.
Targeted social media, display advertising on MetService, digital billboards at Wellington Airport and point of sale material at the conference expo made Palmy’s message hard to miss, driving “huge” volumes of enquiry and requests for quotes.
Marketing Manager Jessica Papple says the campaign captured the tone of the brand perfectly. “From the idea to the execution we’ve ended up with a campaign we’re proud of, that prospects are telling us they love and that’s already driving business. Bloody good!”
TGF creative director Vaughn Davis says the campaign was built on solid research and sound insights. “We spent an excellent couple of days in Palmy seeing the venues, then used the TGF Research Room to meet conference organisers face to face. We can’t wait to take this to the next step”
