AUCKLAND, Today: The Comms Council has announced that the Pressie Awards, which celebrate the best PR, experiential, and social media campaigns in Aotearoa New Zealand, have announced two new categories for the 2023 awards.
The new categories are Best Creative PR Campaign and Young Practitioner of the Year.
The Best Creative PR Campaign category will recognise exceptional creative ideas that have been executed effectively. This category is open to campaigns of all sizes and budgets, and the judges will be looking for campaigns that demonstrate originality, impact, and effectiveness.
The Young Practitioner of the Year category will recognise and celebrate the best junior practitioners in the industry. Nominees must be under the age of 30 and have less than five years of total industry experience at the time of the entry deadline.
“The new categories are Best Creative PR Campaign and Young Practitioner of the Year.”
Comms Council ceo Simon Lendrum said: “The judges will be looking for individuals who have achieved incredible results in the past 18 months and are making a serious mark on the PR, social, and/or experiential industry.”
PREScom chair (and Mango MD) Sean Brown said: “We’re excited to introduce these two new categories for the 2023 Pressie Awards.
