PALMERSTON NORTH, Today: Joshua Brown (Ngāti Rongomaiwahine, Ngāti Rakaipaaka, Ngāti Kahungunu) has been appointed to the role of Hiringa Auaha/Head of Creative Innovation at Ira, a culturally led strategic brand consultancy.
Previously, he’d been CD at Te Wananga o Aotearoa for 20 years.
During this time, he grew the team from 3 to 25 and been part of major language revitalisation movements.
“Joshua’s been a driving force for Māori creativity.”
Ira head of culture and strategy Johnson McKay said: “We’re proud to welcome Joshua.
“He’s been a driving force for Māori creativity at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, including national cultural movements like Mahuru Māori, Taringa Podcast and Te Iwa on Matariki.
“Joshua scales creative solutions through collaborative partnerships that enable our team to lead big kaupapa, with integrity and passion.”
