GroupM’s media agency Mindshare has reclaimed Unilever’s $ 40m account following a competitive pitch.
PHD, the incumbent, initially won the account from Mindshare in 2015. Unilever has brands such as Dove, Lynx, and Ben & Jerry’s.
“After a comprehensive tender process, Unilever Australia and New Zealand has appointed Mindshare as its media agency, effective January 2024,” a Unilever spokesperson says.
“The tender was part of a periodic global review of Unilever’s media agencies in many markets to ensure best-in-class media agency partnerships.”
Mindshare declined to provide an official comment but posted this on their Linkedin account: “We are thrilled to win the pitch and welcome Unilever back to Mindshare in Australia and New Zealand! Unilever’s vision perfectly resonates with our mission – to deliver Good Growth for our clients, our people, and the planet. We’re excited to work together to spearhead Good Growth for some of the most iconic local and global brands!”
