NEW YORK, Today: Marty O’Halloran is stepping down from his role as global ceo of DDB Worldwide – not DDB New York, as stated in error In M+AD Daily on Friday. He will continue as chairman.
Omnicom has elevated Alex Lubar to global ceo of DDB Worldwide. London-based Glen Lomas becomes global president and chief operating officer.
DDB Group Aotearoa is now run by Priya Patel who reports to Andrew Little – the ceo and president of DDB Group Australia & New Zealand.
“As the ceo of DDB Group Aotearoa, I lead the award-winning DDB, Track, Tribal, Interbrand and Mango businesses in New Zealand,” she posted recently on Linkedin
“I am also a board member of the Commercial Communications Council and OMG NZ, a certified Mental First Aid Officer, and a mum.”

O’Halloran has been a leader within the DDB network for close to four decades and took over the role of global ceo in 2020. Under his leadership, DDB won 2023 Network of the Year at Cannes, Network of the Year for the past 3 years at D&AD, and Network of the Year at Effie US and Latina.
“It has been my honour to lead DDB over the past four years,” said O’Halloran. “The talent across our regions is incredible and together we’ve been able to produce work that has achieved transformative results for our clients and has been awarded as some of the best creativity in the world.”
