Our client, an established media company, is looking for an “Action Marketer” who can create and implement a smart agile marketing function within the company. This may include, some B2B Marketing, sector sponsorship, live Social media and Content Creation, Special Event Management, monthly Trade Marketing, and of course some PR.
The ideal ‘part-time’ candidate will be responsible for working closely with the owners to workshop out a new way forward for their marketing calendar and execute a year-round marketing roadmap. They will implement go-to-market B2B projects designed to drive demand and lead generation for the sales team across NZ, and some AUS markets.
The three days per week you will be responsible for executing pure marketing projects to lift brand awareness and support sales with strong relationship lead marketing innovative ideas.
The right candidate will be smart, and action driven and will be able to understand the challenges that come with helping grow a small business.

The Breakdown
We are looking for an experienced professional with:
- Min 8+ years’ Marketing experience
- Media industry or B2B marketing expertise is a bonus
Some key responsibilities are:
- Set up a new marketing function to support sales
- Manage and allocate yearly budget and spend
- Execute and manage lead generation through established channels while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Manage and maintain external PR, Web Development, Web content, Social Media, and the odd agency relationship
- Work with sales team members to create unique outbound marketing initiatives
- Manage Public Relations & Sponsorship Marketing activities
- Create thoughtful content pieces
