The Out of Home Media Association Aotearoa (OOHMAA) has appointed Paul Maher as its first Independent Chair, marking what the organisation describes as a pivotal moment for the industry.
Maher brings with him a wealth of experience and leadership acumen, having held senior roles in the media, advertising, and digital sectors. With over a decade of governance expertise, Maher is well-positioned to guide the OOHMAA Board toward the continued development and growth of the Out of Home sector.
On his appointment, Maher commented, “The Out of Home sector has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, propelled by ongoing advancement in technology and innovation within the channel and an industry committed to delivering a world-class portfolio, standardisation, education, and deeper audience insights and data. OOHMAA (previously OMANZ) is a not-for-profit industry body representing key Out of Home Media display companies who collectively account for around 90 percent of total Out of Home advertising industry revenue.
