Fashion magazine Remix has become the first New Zealand publication to feature supermodel and beauty business owner Cindy Crawford in an exclusive cover and story.
Shot by Joseph Montezinos at a private beach just outside of Miami, styled by Kristen Ingersoll, Crawford shone in some of the most coveted new releases, fresh off the designer runway. At 58, the ‘90s icon is still a goddess, even if she thinks she hasn’t “nailed the ‘selfie’”.
Hanging proudly on the racks at the private resort lay Gucci jackets, Oscar De La Renta mermaid gowns, Prada suits, iconic Calvin Klein jeans, Versace blazers, lacy Coach mini dresses, Tommy Hilfiger knits, and Saint Laurent silk. It’s safe to say, she lived up to her legendary status. Genuine, caring, talented and beautiful, Cindy is forever radiant.
“On set with Remix, the supermodel radiated an authenticity and kindness not usually synonymous with such levels of fame & success, even enthusiastically singing Happy Birthday to me onset as I blew out my cake candles,” says Amber Baker, Remix Editor-in-chief
The Autumn Radiance edition of Remix also features conversations with a range of inspirational women, from the female space explorer Kellie Gerardi redefining gender roles (while wearing Taylor Swift Eras tour bracelets in space), to the highly intelligent technologist roaming the Gobi Desert saving one camel at a time.
Red carpet season brought the goods this year, with actress and recent Academy Award winner Emma Stone admitting in an interview how filming Poor Things ignited a sexual shame within – “Shame was a hell of a drug for me”, while legendary American designer Tommy Hilfiger tells Remix where, how and why his love affair with New York fashion began.
Fashion boasts Autumn’s thought-worthy threads with endless trend inspiration; from Mob Wife-esque on the runway to watercooler-chat inspired fits for work, whilst Cuisine showcases a New Opening hit list, and homely recipes for surviving the change in seasons.
With an expanded ‘Radiant’ beauty focus, Beauty reveals the basic training guide in cosmetic enhancements, a new series aptly titled, TikTok Made Me Do It, plus find out what’s in the Remix team’s beauty shopping cart.
