JOLT, New Zealand’s only third party verified, fully sustainable digital-out-of-home and electric vehicle charging network, has announced the appointment of Lohnêt Waugh as its new Group Sales Director in New Zealand.
Under her new remit, Waugh will be responsible for driving sales and growth in the New Zealand market, while also building the local sales team. She will report to JOLT New Zealand Country Manager, Chris Monaghan.
Waugh brings more than a decade of media sales experience to JOLT, having specialised in out-of-home advertising for most of her career. Waugh comes to JOLT from MediaWorks, where she served as Outdoor Commercial Lead and played a key role within the Sales Leadership team for a number of years, offering valuable support during the transitions following the acquisitions of iSite Media and QMS.
JOLT New Zealand Country Manager, Chris Monaghan, said Waugh’s appointment follows ongoing client growth in the market.
“JOLT is thrilled to welcome Lohnȇt to the team as our client base continues to grow. Lohnȇt brings extensive outdoor sales credentials and experience to the JOLT team, which will be invaluable as we continue to solidify our position in the competitive advertising landscape in New Zealand. Attracting high calibre talent like Lohnȇt to JOLT is testament to the quality product and purpose driven mission of the business,” Monaghan said.
Commenting on her appointment, Waugh said: “JOLT stands out as the fastest growing and most dynamic brand within New Zealand’s digital out-of-home industry. Its purpose-driven, sustainable ethos immediately resonated with me.
“Having immersed myself in out-of-home for more than 11 years, I’m thrilled at the prospect of expanding my expertise with JOLT’s unique blend of mass reach awareness through premium small format digital offerings, coupled with personalised engagement with its EV charging customers.
“JOLT’s commitment to not only providing sought-after roadside audiences, but also spearheading efforts to reduce transport emissions, truly sets it apart, and will undoubtedly shape the future livability of our country. I’m particularly excited about elevating JOLT’s profile in the market and building out a formidable sales team.”
Waugh’s appointment comes as JOLT continues to expand its operations globally, including inking major contracts in Canada and the UK.
JOLT’s New Zealand operations also continue to grow, with the EV digital out-of-home network now covering Auckland and Christchurch, with Wellington going live in the coming months.
