AUCKLAND, Today: It’s all set for an epic journey with the ‘super delivery’ service from Britomart Station to Eden Park. Imagine hopping on The Gravy Train – KFC’s first-ever themed train delivery service in celebration of their partnership with the Blues.
This cool collaboration is more than just about munching on tasty chicken and it’s a ride you won’t forget, especially if you’re headed to the Blues vs Force game.
It’s about backing Auckland Transport (AT) and getting fans to think about their travel choices for big events. The campaign was created by Special PR who led creative, design, experiential, content development, media relations and influencer engagement.
“This is an incredible opportunity to show our support for Super Rugby, while simultaneously championing our ‘Super Delivery’ campaign.”
Boarding The Gravy Train means you might bump into Carlos Spencer, the legendary Train Conducktor. He’s not alone; a team of KFC ambassadors will be there too, dishing out special snack boxes.
Leanne Too, KFC’s Marketing Director, shares the excitement: “This is an incredible opportunity to show our support for Super Rugby, while simultaneously championing our ‘Super Delivery’ campaign from Stanley Street that highlights the effort KFC goes to with our home delivery service.”
Kelly Grindle of Special PR and Amanda Palenski from PHD highlight the campaign’s creativity and potential buzz. Mike Watkins from MediaWorks Outdoor applauds the innovative advertising approach, proving the power of outdoor media advertising by blending it with live experience.
For fans, it’s simple. Have a Blues ticket for match day? The Gravy Train awaits you. And even if you’re not heading to Eden Park, KFC’s dropping delivery fees over the weekend. A treat for all, ensuring no one misses out on the fun or the food.
