AUCKLAND, Today: The NZ Radio Awards kicked off in 1978, created to recognise excellence in radio broadcasting across Aotearoa. Today, they’ve evolved into the NZ Radio & Podcast Awards.
These awards celebrate the best in the business—on-air personalities, news and sports reporting, creative production, and standout programming from across the country.
Entries are welcomed from all NZ radio stations, staff, ad agencies, podcast creators, producers, and anyone contributing to New Zealand broadcasting.
The Radio Broadcasters Association, which represents commercial radio in NZ, supports the administration of the awards programme.
The list of finalists for the 2025 NZ Radio & Podcast Awards will be available to download here at 12.30pm, Friday 11 April 2025.
